The Holy Bible
The Bible is the 'Best Selling' book of all times. No one really knows how many copies of the Bible have been printed, sold, or distributed. Attempts have been made to calculate the number that have been sold since 1816-1992, and put it close to 6,000,000,000 (yep thats Billion!).To date there are 6,800+ languages listed in the world. According to Wycliffe Bible Translators, there is a need for 2,000+ more languages to have Bibles printed for. That meaning about 340 million people do not have any Scripture in their language. In Matthew 28:19 (NIV), the bible says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit." In Mark 16:15-16 (NIV), the bible says, "And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." So what are we waiting for? We are not all made to be missionaries across the world, but that doesn't mean we can't profess our faith to our neighbor... That is still spreading the word! Maybe your neighbor is going to be a future missionary somewhere? Don't ever be afraid to profess what you believe! You may miss a perfect opportunity to share the word of God and change someones life!!!
The Bible is the most important book EVER written, it is God's WORD. I think we as American's forget how lucky we are to have the bible (full content)! We can read the bible at our leisure, pray and worship Him freely! So what are we waiting for? Is He your king?
