Day 21- A picture of something that makes you happy

Happiness is defined as a mental state of well-being characterized by positive emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. A variety of biological, psychological, religious, and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

God, my Family and my Friends are the utmost important to me and definitely make me extremely happy! However, for this particular post, I want to declare other things that make me happy as I have already posted about God, Family and Friends!

The Beach
Deerfield Beach, FL
October 2009
I use to always call the beach 'the mother-ship'. It is definitely a place I love going that makes me feel at home. Especially growing up in Florida.
Hiking
Billy Goat Trail, MD
May 2007
Joe and I use to do a lot of hiking in the D.C. area when we lived there (06'-07'). We've gone to a few places to hike in NC. However, owning a house has consumed our ability to do this on the weekends, but definitely something we enjoy when we have time.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S
The F.R.I.E.N.D.S Television show is definitely my 'go to' when I don't feel well. This picture was taken in January 2011 at Snowshoe, WV. I was elated to see the Ski Condo we rented out had a F.R.I.E.N.D.S coffee mug! I would be lying to say that I didn't think about misplacing it in my suitcase upon departure. ;) Don't worry it's still at the condo!
Skiing
I didn't learn to ski until 2007, but Joe has been a wonderful teacher and I look forward to going skiing several times every year! This picture was taken in January 2011 at Snowshoe, WV.
Contessa
She is definitely my sweet little kitty. She loves to snuggle in my lap almost every night after dinner. Growing up we had many cats, but none of them were ever lap cats. I must say I love that she is one! Note: She is a chameleon on this rug, sometimes you can hardly see her.
Norman
Oh boy! Look at that face! He has his moments of being such a cutie, but then he has his moments where you better watch out! He can be quite feisty, but he's still a very sweet boy when he wants to be.
Tiger
This is my parents tiny kitty Tiger. HA! He is now 14-15 years old or so... He is part mancoon so he is a BIG framed kitty weighing in at 17lbs. My parents had to buy him a medium size dog bed, because a cat bed was too small. He is one big fur ball and I love him so much. I couldn't leave him out, because not only do I look forward to visiting with my parents I definitely enjoy visiting Tiger when I go home to Florida. I just want to squeeze him!
