Welcome to the Gun Show!

Today Joe and I took a pistols course at the Wake County Firearms Education and Training Center. It's not
very far from our house, probably about 7 miles. The instructors trained taught us how to shoot properly in 3
different positions: bench with a rest, two handed standing, and one handed standing. I will say that I can see
us making this a hobby at least 1-2x a month. Who knows it could be on Friday night date night!

Joe's Gun
Glock 9mm (19)

Amanda's Gun
Walther P22

A few shots were low, but then he found his sweet spot...

Mine were all at least in the general vicinity. ;)

Standing 2 handed

Joe was upset about the ONE bullet that wasn't in the black. As you can see again, he's pretty good at finding his aim.

Standing 2 handed

Mine are at least all on the paper... On the bulls eye... HA!

Standing 1 handed

Again consistency...

Standing 1 handed

Pretty much all in the black. I did much better one handed than two.

  1. Looks like fun! I've never seen a range with tables, usually there are lanes and a long range where you can change the target distant. Did you try Joe's 9?
