Color Splash: Stripes

I really love searching through Pinterest to find great ideas for anything, whether it's DIY, Garden, Home Decor, Fashion or Hair.  Pin it!  I came across this ensemble (left) yesterday and decided to try and recreate it with affordable items, minus of course the Tory boots and gold jewelry.  Sometimes I just can't find anything better to pair with it.  Oh the price we pay for fashion.  Sigh...

    This is a gorgeous look. I wouldn't have thought of pairing it with a denim shirt, but it looks really good. I have recently purchased a stripy skirt and need to think of things to go with it, so thanks for this!
