Trend Report: Peplum Dresses

Peplum dresses are continuing to be all the flair this year, especially for a nice little cocktail affair.  This silhouette was primarily popular in the1940's and 1980's.  Reason being for it's popularity is the style drew the attention to a tiny little waste and an hourglass figure with showing much class.

Last Friday, Joe and I went out on a belated Valentine's Day dinner where I was able to wear my new peplum dress.  I'm not one for crowds and food that isn't done to perfection, so I'd rather wait a day or two to the post hectic-ness of the lovey dovey occasion.  (Refer to recent post My Valentine Attire)

A little something extra

Every year we attend a wine festival where all of the local wineries come out to participate.  Last year I found my perfect wine, Cypress Bend - Catherine.  Catherine is a 'A full-bodied and semi-sweet white Muscadine with boldness and a robust, aromatic nose.'  Just a lovely, lovely wine.
