This weeks Friday's Fancies is Spring Break Season. In my past life, Spring Break consisted of a week off of school, bathing suits, flip flops, warm sand between my toes, a good book, an alcoholic beverage in hand, my skin turning golden brown and my hair turning blonder than ever... I miss those warm Spring Breaks in Florida and I have officially turned into a Northerner with white (almost) porcelain skin. Now that I'm a 'grown up', I think the lazy Spring Break days are long gone and wish for a peaceful/adventurous (if those go hand in hand?) travel to Europe. It's quite unfortunate that we have never been, but I hope that one day my husband and I will make it overseas. We always have an excuse as to why we don't go, but I think if we did finally travel to Europe I would take a leave of absence from work for 2-4 months and travel from city to city until I'm ready to come home.
For this post, my Spring Break is only one week long, so I'd start with romantic Italy...
I'd #1 stay in a Villa and bathe in the sun all day...
and #2 to adventure to the city for fabulous photos, food and wine... I'm sure I could find wonderful places to shop as well... That's what shopaholics do... Isn't it?
