Kiss Me, I'm English
I bought this shirt for Joe a few years back for obvious reasons. I think he just wanted every girl to try and persuade them into kissing him. Once we were married, he bought me one.

Luck of the Irish a Four-Leaf Clover!
This past Wednesday, Joe was bringing in the trash can and low and behold he found a four-leaf clover. His first ever! Luck of the English?
According to tradition, such clovers with four-leaves will bring good luck to the finder, especially if found on accident. According to legend, each leaf represents the following:
#1 - faith
#2 - hope
#3 - love
#4 - luck
Random Fact: There are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every 1 four-leaf clover.
PS - I've yet to find my pot of gold at the end of a rainbow...
This year for St. Patrick's Day we will be staying in, as we have a race (13.1) on Sunday morning @ 7am. There will be green clothing worn, however there will be no beer drinking or going out in this household. We will be off to bed counting shoes in our heads by 8pm!!!
Do you go out and celebrate St. Patrick's Day? If so, I'd love to hear what your tradition is or what you have planned this year? I obviously need to live vicariously through my blogger friends!

Two comments... 1, you know I'm not the most fashionable person (quite the understatement!), but I think I'd actually wear your St. Patties outfit this week. 2, I love the t-shirt, and that Joe got you one once you were "English." So cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't celebrate St. Patrick's day but I do love green. This is a great look! I'd wear the entire thing. Especially that sweater.
