Friday's Fancies Week #9: Flower Power

Flower Power




Nothing says romance like a little Flower Power!  As we've all noticed our stores have been plagued (in an awesome way) with the colors: mint and shades of coral.  With that in mind, I thought this floral dress would complement the two of them just fine.

Note: Also, a separate published set (from February 2012) called Flower Power.

Have you been able to embrace all of the flower fabrics this year?  Any good finds?

Easter Sunday
Today is Good Friday and this upcoming Sunday is Easter!  This is our first Easter with absolutely no plans for brunch/dinner/etc.  We obviously go to church on Easter (and every Sunday mind you), but typically we have family in town or we have people over.  Not this year.  Last weekend my husband was baptized, therefore we had both sides of our family in town to celebrate his public profession of his commitment to Christ!  YAH!  Such an exciting time!  Anyways, with no plans I'm actually looking forward to a peaceful and quiet weekend as we both have come down with a cold or allergies or something of that nature...?  This weekend we'll catch up on much needed rest and hopefully we are able to run both Saturday and Sunday as we have a 10K race the following weekend (on 4/14)!  I bet you are all happy I haven't posted any training updates for this one!

    Looks like we're both loving the coral purses, since I paired my outfit with a coral clutch this week :) The hubby and I are stuck running around from house to house this Easter Sunday and most likely going to mass with my side of the family in the morning! Have a wonderful weekend!

    I love the collage!!! And the blog too, following along now in my Google reader!
    While I don't participate in Lent, my husband and kiddies do and I can't tell you how excited they are to go on their Easter egg hunt on Sunday and dig into those delicious chocolate goodies they gave up for Lent!

    I love everything you've picked out here but I particularly like the mint cardigan, the dress, the nail polish, bracelet and bag... That's pretty much everything :)
    I do normally practice lent (and struggle with it!) but this year I totally forgot about it. I definitely wish I'd remembered and wil, be trying harder next year.
