Weekend Round Up + Giveaway!

This Saturday was our last 10K (6.2 mile) race for the season.  We haven't been running quite as much as we did this winter/early spring, but none the less a race we must do!  Within the first mile I knew this was going to be a tough race.  It was all downhill!  ESHK!  That meant that the end of the race, nearing mile 6 was going to be all uphill!  After mile 1, it was almost rolling hills, up and down and up and down and up and down...  Growing up in Florida, the biggest hill you will find is an ant hill so needless to say, hills are not my favorite thing!!!  Joe's time was 47:22 (7:37 pace) and my time was 60:21 (9:39 pace).  Compared to my last race (9:14 pace) this one didn't quite as well, I blame the hills!

Other than that we spent the weekend relaxing at the pool and spending some time with friends at our monthly Supper Club.

    The photo a day thing does help with inspiration and it's nice because I JUST got instagram. I know it took me years, but finally I got it and I love it!

    These pictures are lovely, I love the cat one too! Congratulations on the race, you make me want to start running again! I've never taken part in a race though, maybe that's something to aim for one day :)
