Dear Cabin, I miss you already... I think I need another vacation, work is not fun... Dear June, averaging a high of 75 this week?!?!? I'm not complaining! Can you keep that temperature all summer? Dear Norman (the cat), we've had this conversation many times about not waking us up so early, but now you have gotten Contessa (the other cat) involved. Thanks for that... Dear Auto Cat Feeder, why have I only used you when we travel? 4:30am feeding time worked like a charm. Zzzzzzzzzzz... Dear Running, I've taken a small break from you and it's been nice. However, this week I realized how much I hate running in the summer. I think I need a new routine for a few months... Dear Weekend, actually having to work a full week this week... ICK! Glad you are finally here...

Friday's Fancies Week #18: Short + Sweet
This weekends Friday's Fancies is in regards to SHORTS! It's that time of year where shorts and skirts are prominent as the summer heat makes you want to strip down as much as possible! As the summer heat started to rise here in North Carolina I started digging through my closet realizing that I don't have that many shorts. Not even enough staples? Who owns only one pair of jean shorts? ABSURD! So this week I ordered three pair of shorts from the J. Crew Factory store. They had their chino's on sale for $22.50 (black + navy + dark jean)! I pondered ordering a vibrant color and then decided the staples were much more important right now. Maybe next month...
