Friday's Letters
Dear Car, breaking down on the way home from work on a Monday, not the best start to my week. Dear Car (again), and breaking down again on the way home from the Lake on the 4th? Seriously? Dear Husband, I think it's time to get me a new car! Pleeeeeeaaaassssseeeeeeee! Dear Contessa, I love waking up in the middle of the night with you sleeping next to my pillow with all of your fur in my face. I find it endearing... Dear 550 Piece Puzzle, I'm glad we finished you in two days... It created great conversation and spawned childhood memories of sitting at the card table. Dear Jessica, I'm so excited that you are randomly stopping next weekend on your way up to New England! What a surprise! YAH! Dear Summer, I'm probably going to complain about you everyday when you are bringing 100+ degree weather... I'm just not a fan! Dear Fall, I'm counting down the days until your cool crisp days arrive, with your muted fall colors, turning leaves, pumpkins and football arrives... It makes me happy.
Friday's Fancies Week #22: Stars + Stripes
This weeks Friday's Fancies is in remembrance of Independence Day! It was quite strange to have a holiday smack dab in the middle of the week and not have to work. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about having a day off! We just found it hard to try to make any travel plans and wanting to take extra days off... With that being said, we both had Wednesday off and drove up to Lake Gaston for the day to spend time with some friends! We had a great day on the Lake! (pictures next week) Thursday I worked from home and the husband went to work. Today, we both took off just to get some extra R&R.

Those shoes! I love them so! It was weird being in a country that doesn't celebrate the 4th, but we definitely had some champagne to cheers in the day!!!!

Ha ha I love it when I wake up with my cat sleeping by/on my head too... I think it's endearing, but my Fiancé thinks it's highly annoying! :-)
