Friday's Letters & Friday's Fancies Week #25: Favorite Summer Treat

Friday's Letters
Dear Humidity, I don't like what you do to my hair...  Dear Weekend, zero plans turned into plans again...  I'm grateful for friends, but I'm very tired...  Dear Kitties, I'm so sorry you have to go to the vet today...  Norman please don't kill the veterinarians...  Last time you went to the vet for your annual checkup it was quite a dramatic experience.  This time...  Joe is taking off work early to take him.  I'll be taking Contessa...  Dear Joe, good luck today.  Dear Turtle, you're welcome for scooping you off of the pavement and placing you in the grass.  I hope this got you closer to your destination and by destination I hope you weren't on a suicide mission.  We didn't see you on the road the next morning, we assumed you were safe and sound.  Dear Clothing Magazines, flipping through you this week and seeing boots, long sleeves light sweaters and jeans made me  yearn for the Fall!


Friday's Fancies Week #25: Favorite Summer Treat
If you knew me...  You would know that ice cream is my kryptonite.  There is nothing better than an simple ice cream cone on a summer's day.  However, I will say peaches are also one of my favorite things to eat in the summer.  Here in North Carolina the peaches are native and during the summer months they are just delightful!   Do you have a favorite summer treat?

    I love love love ice cream too! I would eat it everyday if it were acceptable. So obviously I am loving those ice cream shorts! Too cute! Have a good weekend :)

    Hi! Debra from Stylewise here.....ok....HOW did I ever miss your blog?! I love it! Especially the Friday's Letters. So cute! What a fun blog. I'm definately gonna follow. :) Um...my favorite summertime treat is hands down homemade iced tea....and sweet is THE only way to go. Lol! I started using sum dried mint in it as well and WOW! Talk about refreshing.

    Amanda, I love these! I know what it's like to take a pet to the vet! I had a schnauzer and she handled the vet well when she was a baby but lawdy as she got older it was definitely an experience. HAHAHA Good luck with that! I love ice cream. Ice cream and peaches together would be good! So refreshing!
