I feel as though every weekend is a whirlwind.  Who decided that a work week should be five days and two days for a weekend?  Why couldn't it have been five days for a weekend and two days for a work week?  Just sayin'...  Friday we night we met up with some new friends Anna and Jason at the Busy Bee in downtown Raleigh.  We had great food, great drinks (well they did as I was DD) and great conversation!  Love them!  Saturday we spent most of the day cleaning and preparing for guests!  One of my best friends and roommates from college Jessica (and her mother) were travelling through Raleigh!  WOO HOO!  Joe was quite disappointed that he didn't get to play golf with her, but I reminded him she'll be back in September for a few days!  PS - Jessica is a professional golfer.  Sunday we woke up early, by early I mean 5am early, to have breakfast with Jess and her mother to see them off to Vermont.  After their departure, we went back to bed to watch television and read the paper and what not...  We decided that we needed to go on a run at the tobacco trail and afterwards we were both exhausted!  The heat and humidity was already very high at 8am.  Once we returned home we literally stayed in our bedroom all day.  We took a nap, ate lunch in bed, watched television, watched a few movies and even played cards.  It was just one of those days (that really never happens as I can never get Joe to sit still) that we wanted to just rest.  There is no other resting like the comfort of your own bed.

Friday on our way home from dinner, I was the designated driver...  Joe was being his usual self and trying to be a front seat driver...  See conversation below.  I had to send it to Anna once I got home.  LOL
