Friday's Fancies Week #31: Back to School
School seems so long ago... I graduated from High School 11 years ago (2001) and College 7 years ago (2005). Did I just date myself? I guess so... I remember in High School my mother would take me clothes shopping for the beginning of the school year. I don't remember back to school shopping for college. In south Florida the seasons don't really change much so the need for clothes outside of Summer clothes wasn't all that necessary. A few hoodies and jeans here and there, but it was only 'cold' (south Floridan terms) for like a month. By cold I mean 75F/24C during the day and 57F/14C at night... Yep so cold... You might even hear someone call it FREEZING! Now that I live a few states north of Florida I know what it feels like to be below freezing. North Carolina still isn't all that cold compared to a lot of states, but we still get all 4 seasons (mild winters highs 53F/11.6C and lows 30F/-1.1C). That's enough for me for the most part. I could use a few extra inches of snow. Maybe this year.

Dolman top / 7 For All Mankind skinny leg jeans / Flat shoes / Cleobella leather bag / FOSSIL analog watch / Wrap bracelet / Crystal earrings / Yellow gold jewelry / Yves Saint Laurent eyeliner / Beige Book Collection, Instant Library, Vintage Books, Rustic Decor
Cold front?? When?

Can't believe you don't like orb weavers! I like them because they hang out on their webs for everyone to see and don't run or jump on you. If they get frightened, they vibrate their webs back and forth to intimidate you. See? Harmless.
ReplyDeleteThis look is super cute. I like the mix of fall pieces and quirky accents. This definitely looks like an outfit I'd live in. :)
ReplyDeleteyou are SO lucky for getting a cold front!

ReplyDeleteI can relate as I grew up in San Diego were it really never gets cold either. Now I'm in Tahoe, own a plethora of "warm" jackets and shovel snow during winter months. Big change. Great picks loving the sweater and watch. I swear if I let myself I would own 100 watches.
