Awkward
-Last week at work I was in line to get my flu shot.  In front of me was a woman filling out paperwork and the only thing I could see was the back of her head.  I bent down to pickup and fill out my paperwork and said 'hello', kind of like a hello when you know someone.  She said, 'hi'...?!?!?!?  i thought i knew her...  totally didn't...  she probably thought who the heck is this lady!?!?
-Joe had a race this past weekend.  What we thought was on Sunday, was actually on Saturday.  Sooooooo guess what?  We arrived on Sunday to the parking area and no one was there.  He missed the race!  apparently neither of us were meant to run it.  i was registered to run and am still in the injured list and well the husband he just missed it.  mutual agreement of messing this one up!  Ooops!
- I realized that the word 'slacks' is an old term.  I may have created a 20+ comment conversation on Facebook learning different terms that people use instead of slacks.  Britches, trousers, dress pants, khakis, dockers, etc.  I'm going to convert to 'trousers'.

Awesome
-Today I'm off to South Florida, husband-less, to visit a bunch of old friends.  I typically go once a year, solo.  Joe's never really had much interest in going because all us girls do is go to the beach, eat, gab, shop and relax.  i love being able to visit them!  thankfully I missed Hurricane Sandy when it was down in Florida last week!

  1. Trousers are what all pants are called in the UK. Hope that you have a lovely time in Florida, I'm missing it so much. Our flight was one of the last to leave before the major delays and cancellations started. Would give anything for some warmth today! Sounds like a perfect girls trip. Have a safe one.
