Merry (belated) Christmas! We have returned home from our trip to the Chicago area and had a wonderful time visiting my side of the family! We are sure glad to be home to the warmer weather though!!! A high of 45F/7.2C for North Carolina Winter really doesn't seem that cold anymore. However, I never really thought North Carolina Winter's were that cold. When you visit somewhere where the temperature is below freezing and breezy the entire time...you really start to understand what real Winter is. I can't imagine what January and February are like in the Windy City. Brrrrrrrrr!
Bbbrrrr. Chicago is a COLD city. Glad you made it home safe.
