happy birthday to me

I really can't believe I'm thirty, 30, the big 3-0.  No matter how I say it, I still can't believe it.  I'm not sure where this last year went, nor the last decade.  But I do know that I'm now in my thirties.  sigh...

Thirty.  The age of thirty is when most of your friends are married, have good jobs, mostly stable lives and some are starting to have kids (or maybe already have kids).  Which is still absolutely terrifying to me.  the whole kid thing that is.  However, I am grateful for where I am at in my life.  I have a wonderful husband who loves God, loving families, great friends, two awesome cats, a beautiful home and a good job.  what more can a girl ask for?

My first request on this day of celebration is for my husband to fix me breakfast and play this F.R.I.E.N.D.S. episode: The One Where They All Turn Thirty (short two minute clip for your entertainment).  Which yes, it all happened before 6am.  As for the rest of the day I'll be at work, maybe a little online shopping and grab dinner on the way home with the husband.  I call that a great birthday.  well minus the whole being at work thing today.  happy birthday to me.
