blueberry banana bread

Remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned how much I hated bananas and made Banana Muffins with Cinnamon Streusel?  Well apparently the husband is on a banana killing spree so I had to make some other sort of banana recipe.  I used my mother's banana bread recipe and threw in blue berries.

Blueberry Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. cooking oil
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3 small ripened bananas (or 2 large ripened bananas)
- 3 TBS milk
- 2 C. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 pint fresh blueberries

For the topping:
- powdered sugar

Yields
~ 1 loaf of bread

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Grease pan then tap flour to cover entire loaf pan
3. In a large bowl, mix together cooking oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs
4. Then add in and mix together milk, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and bananas
5. Mix the banana mixture into flour mixture
6. Rinse blueberries and coat with flour
7. Fold in blueberries
8. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean
