I finally got around to uploading our photos from Memorial Day weekend. I won't bore you with the 200 pictures that were taken, but with just a few from the city. The weather was rather iffy, but regardless Joe and I continued to wander the streets of Chicago. We did mostly outdoor site seeing unless it was shopping, eating or The Art Institute of Chicago. For one we didn't have a lot of time to adventure and second the lines were long as it was a holiday weekend.
The last time we were in Chicago was this past Christmas and it was cold! cold! cold! There was no way we were going to walk all around the city except for of course shopping. Prior to that was in 2006 when we ran the Chicago marathon. We did see the city in 26.2 miles, but let me tell you I vow never to view a city like that again! i'm still recovering... and it had been years since I visited the windy city prior to the marathon...
