summer wishlist

Well summer is officially here!  We've been lucky enough to see a delay in the excruciating heat here in North Carolina.  Our summer days can be rather miserable with temperatures usually in the 90's, but soaring above 100 degrees for days..  and humidity so high you feel like you are choking on the air.  sounds fun right?  Don't even get me started on my hair!  I don't even attempt to straighten it...  I'll walk outside and in 2 seconds look like a human poodle.  that means lots of up-do's for me.  Is it weird that I wouldn't mind moving westward to alleviate the frizz?

You would think that growing up in Florida I would have a ton of summer clothes.  I have several pair of staple shorts and only a few tank tops.  surprisingly true.  Once I moved north (VA and NC) I was investing in cool weather clothing because I hardly had any.  After 6 years of living "north" I have plenty now.  plenty.  wrong word choice, the husband may keep this and say that i have enough clothes.  a girl never has enough clothes.  (:
