a few words on blogging friendships

Today is day 18 of the Blogtember Challenge on Story of My Life!   Today's blog prompt ask to, go to a coffee shop. Order a favorite drink. Write about what makes you happy and what makes you sad. Or write about anything you'd like!

Well I'm not in a coffee shop writing this post.  I'm in my usual writing spot, my desk.  I was early leaving for work today and the husband (we carpool) stopped by Starbucks so I could get a nice little pick-me up!  a pumpkin spice latte  I do at least have a nice tasty warm beverage in hand while writing this morning.

onto blogging friendships

I never thought I would open my blog to the public and allow 'strangers' to be let into my world.  I originally started my blog to keep our friends and family up to date on our whereabouts.  A few months into writing, another blogger that I didn't know 'joined' Eloquent English and it sort of freaked me out.  Do I really want a stranger to read about my life?  Why would they be interested in what I am doing?  After awhile more bloggers started to follow our journey.  I am glad that I left my blog open to the public, I have met some very interesting people along the way.

I want to take a minute to write to two bloggers that I met a year or so ago.  Both of these beautiful sweet ladies continuously reach out to me, as I do to them.  They ask:
-how are you doing?
-how did your photoshoot go?
-where have you been (since I hadn't blogged for nearly over a month), is everything okay?
-hey I took a picture and was going to text you, but realized we were only internet friends! (we fixed that!)

Not only do they ask how I am doing and what's going on in my life, but we are an encouragement and support to each other.

Kind words from other bloggers makes me happy and makes it all worth the while to write this little old blog of mine.  So, thank you Kate from Daffoldil's and Bea from Pice's Adventures for being my friends.
