then i played with the 12-42 inch long L.L. Bean forks
best thing ever by the way for campfires (s'mores only - no hot dogs allowed (super gross))
while we waited for the fire to die down ....
the crisp evening night came and the hot coals were ready.... and it was time....
for s'mores
Autumn fell upon us early here in North Carolina. That is one weather pattern I am certainly not going to complain about. The last two weeks have left us with minimal humidity, highs in the mid-70's and lows in the 40's. The idea of sitting outside on a crisp fall evening, snuggling under a blanket next to Joe and listening to crackling noise of the wood burning fire brings me happiness. that means fall is here. One of my favorite parts about building a fire whether outside with our chimenea or inside with our wood burning fireplace is roasting marshmallows to make s'mores. That golden roasted marshmallow smooshed between two graham crackers with it's partner in crime the Hershey bar is delectable. by far my favorite time of year
I wish it was cool enough here to roast S'mores! I'm ridiculously excited that by the weekend, highs in Texas will only be in the 70s...
