so this is summer

It's been almost a month since we had been to the farmer's market and I was going through withdrawals.  I knew that there was a plethera of fresh fruits and veggies calling my name.  Blackberries, strawberries (I was so excited to see one vendor had them), blueberries and PEACHES!!!!!!!!  I am pretty sure that I taste tested blueberries and peaches from every vendor that had samples out.  I couldn't help myself!  We also picked up zucchini, squash, tomatoes, onion, sweet corn which is another one of our favorites.

Joe typically carries our market basket because I am usually taking pictures and by the end of our trip the basket is so heavy I can hardly carry it for too long anyways.  Joe was told twice by random strangers that he looked pretty with his basket.  HA!  He didn't seem to mind too much, but figured that I should order one that is a little less vibrant and slightly more masculine.  So I found a natural and very dark blue one that will hopefully call less attention.
