We've been feeling rather adventurous the last few weekends going on close hiking trips. Last weekend was wonderfully cool weather for May as you will note I wore jeans and a flannel. We headed to Raven Rock State Park to hike the 6 mile loop up to Lanier Falls, which wasn't really a 'fall' but rapids. It was honestly a rather disappointing climax at mile 3, but the company was rather enjoyable.

{below} is where I was more interested than the 'fall' above. I loved the dark ominous look of this section of Campbell Creek. I didn't have a tripod with me, but propped the camera on my legs while sitting and held my breath to use a slow shutter-speed to capture the smooth flowing waters. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
