good-bye april, hello may

Since I completely forgot to post the April stendig calendar, you now get two calendar changes in one post.  The month of April had been crazy busy...  I had told Joe I felt I was in survival mode and he said it was too early in the season for you to say that.  He is probably right, but when you go from a quiet winter season (minimal work) straight to crazy it takes a little time to adjust to the crazy.  Now that it's been a month, it's feeling a little bit like normal and it will through November.

At times when I'm feeling overwhelmed, I am reminded that in my weakness (and should in all times) to pray for strength and peace.  Psalms 22:19 says, But You, O LORD, be not far off; O You my help, hasten to my assistance.  When my weekly calendar seems oh so full, I have to remind myself to rely on Him and not on myself.  Once the week is over and I finally turn the page to the next week, I can look back and thank the Lord for getting me through another crazy week.  I survived just fine and remind myself that what a blessing it all was.
